Four 49er men's water polo players were named to the 2007 MPSF Academic All-Conference Team. Seniors Travis Buchanan, Nick Korsgaden and Reid Tomassi are joined on the squad by sophomore Justin Koeppen. (more)

Trio Named All-Americans for the 49ers

Long Beach State water polo players Steve MacKenzie (Walnut Creek), Travis Buchanan (Manhattan Beach) and Jake Kinne (Newberg, Ore.) were each named honorable mention All-Americans by the Association of College Water Polo Coaches of America, the first national honors for all three players. (more)

Long Beach State's Gavin Arroyo was honored on Wednesday as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Men's Water Polo co-Coach of the Year.
