 
LBSU 2007: Appeared in 10 games with a single gaol at CS Bakersfield to open the season on August 31, when she played 26 minutes... also played 39 minutes off the bench at Clemson on September 7 and 29 minutes at CS Northridge on October 14... scored the final of five goals in a 5-0 win in Bakersfield, tying the school-record for goals and margin of victory. International Play: Is a current member of the U20 Mexican National Team.... The sophomore-to-be Janet Mendez started and played 72 minutes for the Under-20 Mexican National Team this past summer, as Mexico finished third at the CONCACAF Regional Championships at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico... Mexico defeated Costa Rica 3-2 in penalty kicks, as the Mexicans took a lead in the 28th minute, before Costa Rica tied it in the 48th minute. Both teams traded goals in overtime, before Mexico won on penalty kicks.... with the win, Mexico qualified for the U-20 World Cup in Chile in November. Canada won the championship, defeating the U.S.1-0.... In pool play, Mexico defeated Cuba 7-0 and Trinidad 3-0. Mendez did not play against Cuba, but played 56 minutes against Trinidad. Highland High School: Four-year letterman in soccer at Highland High, playing with current 49er Sahar Haghdan... named the team's most valuable offensive player in 2005 and was a scholar-athlete... played for the Arsenal Club Team.
