 
Long Beach State (2007): Played and started in ten games before being sidelined with a knee injury ... enters the year second on the career batting average lists by hitting .321 over three years ... had six hits and seven walks in 23 at-bats in 2007 ... was a perfect 2-for-2 against Siena College on Feb. 24. (2006): Perez hit .400 in conference play and .303 overall (No. 1 on the team) in '06... Perez went 4-for-4 with three RBI in G3 vs. Pacific on Apr. 30... Perez had nine multiple-hit games in 2006... Went 2-for-4 with a run scored at UCSB on May 13... Had an eight-game hit streak Apr. 15-Apr. 30.
